Exhibition model 

The Tangent, designed by Patrick Paris for Serax, is a hybrid object: both an ambient lamp and a concrete side table. Its half-moon shape is lit from within, creating a soft and diffused light, while offering a stable surface to place a book, a drink, or a small object. 

With its dimensions L 29.5 × D 21.7 × H 40.5 cm, Tangent easily fits at the end of a sofa, next to an armchair, or as a sculptural bedside table. Its minimalist gray concrete look integrates naturally into contemporary interiors as well as warmer environments, contrasting with wood, fabric, or metal. 

Equipped with a GU10 socket, a 2 m cable with a switch, and a maximum power of 5 W, it provides controlled ambient lighting, perfect for softening evening light or creating a reading nook. Tangent is designed for indoor use only. 

Each piece is molded in concrete and may have slight surface irregularities, which Serax considers part of the object's unique character.
