Questions fréquentes
Retrouvez les réponses essentielles pour choisir, utiliser et entretenir cette pièce.
What is the difference between model 01 and 04?
The main difference is the shape. The Sicily 04 is a vertical "tower" vase (H 35 cm), while the Sicily 01 is a wide, horizontal vase (L 41 cm). They complement each other perfectly if you have the space to display them together, creating an interesting dialogue of forms.
Are the colors sun-resistant?
The terracotta is glazed and fired at high temperatures, which sets the colors. However, as with any hand-painted work of art, we advise avoiding direct and prolonged exposure to intense UV rays (e.g., behind a south-facing bay window) to preserve the vibrancy of the pigments in the very long term.
Can it be used as a cachepot?
Yes, its generous dimensions (Width 22 cm) allow you to place a plant pot inside. Just make sure the inner pot is watertight or use a saucer inside to prevent stagnant water from damaging the ceramic over time.
Where can I see this collection in real life?
The Serax x Ottolenghi collection is very visual. Come and discover the texture and vibrant colors of these vases in our Maison Archibald store in Vitré. It's the best way to choose the one that "speaks" to you the most.
