Why is this model called the "Mute" cicada?
Design: Unlike traditional ceramic cicadas, which are often very figurative and visually 'loud', Karine Lanny's creation is described as 'Silent' due to its clean, contemporary lines. It doesn't 'sing' with superfluous details, but expresses itself through the purity of its form.
How do I hang my little cicada on the wall?
Installation: Each cicada has a notch on the back. To install it, simply hammer a nail at an angle (head pointing upwards) into your wall and slide the cicada onto it. It can also be simply placed on a shelf or desk.
Can the Vert Provence cicada be installed on an exterior facade?
